What Is the PSA Test?
The Prostate-Specific Antigen (PSA) test is a simple blood test that measures the level of PSA protein released from the prostate into the bloodstream. While PSA is a normal product of the prostate, elevated levels can signal conditions like BPH, prostatitis, or prostate cancer. 
  • PSA testing does not measure the amount of PSA inside the prostate — it checks how much PSA is leaking into the bloodstream.

  • Digital Rectal Exam (DRE) to assess the prostate
  • Prostate MRI – to visually identify areas of concern
